Thursday 12th - Sunday 15th June   BBC Good Food Show Summer

The first of a series of Slow Food events in conjunction with BBC Good Food.  Slow Food Tasting workshops covering issues such as sustainable fish, meat production from dairy calves, and Slow Bread. Sunday 22nd June    Midsummer Brunch & Pork Tasting

A relaxing brunch featuring pork products (sausages, bacon, black pudding) from a short-list of Somerset producers.  The best will be entered into our Producers Directory. Venue: Westerly, Blagdon, North Somerset Price: £10 (members only)

Sunday 3rd August  Breadmaking & using a Wood-fired Oven

A demonstration of bread made using long-fermentation techniques (wild yeast & overnight dough) The breads will then be cooked in a wood-fired oven and served with an al-fresco lunch. Venue: Westerly, Blagdon, North Somerset Price: £25 (members)                £35 guests (subject to availability)

Saturday 6th September   Festival of West Country Cheeses

This successful event is again being organised by Slow Food member Roz Golding in the extended and revamped Shires Yard, Bath.  Venue: Shires Yard, Bath Price: Free!
